Rank Structure

ok guys a lot of the newer guys are interested in how to gain ranks within the guild, so i come up with a quick solution

this is for the alliance only at the moment as i`ll leave my bro and meany to sort their end out ( so to speak )

Recruit to Initiated.. 1 week to Register on our forums, if not registered within said week, they will be kicked, But as soon as they are registered they can be promoted to Inintiated

Initiated to Member.. no time scales here. You have to have been a little active on the website, and shown an interest in helping fellow guild members "in Game".

Member to Captain.. A good level of forum use and a really helpful outlook, Current members of the Inner Circle will discuss this on a fairly regular basis.

Captain to Inner Circle.. This is a special appointment, to progress here you have to be put forward by a current member if the Inner Circle and we will discuss the possibility.

Inner Circle to Da Boss.. In your dreams


Guys if things dont progress as quick as you would like feel free to /w me in game or drop me an Email

I thought to drop a few comments on this rank organization…

I feel that you are placing too much emphasis on the forum and less on in-game activities for promotion purposes. For example time since the player joined the game, his level and of course how helpful he has been to other guild members.

Of course I am not arguing that the in-game criteria should be the only one to consider but rather a mix or in-game and website/forum

I think that's what happens anyway.

You could be really active in the forums but a real bell-end ingame. Peoples opinions and what you do will obviously play a large part. The forum thing has been pushed because people were joining and having no input with anyone else in the guild which isn't seen as particularly friendly or in the spirit of the guild. The idea being that if it became a requirement more people would get involved and have a more enjoyable online experience.

well I'm a Forum spammer, I've spent everyday for the past 2years on one forum or another, now that things have changed a little for me, I'll be spending most of my time on this forum, and for me, I'd like to see EVERYONE (including my missus) registered on the forums.
It's a great place to ask questions, hints and tips, and just get to know your fellow guild members.

Maybe, and just maybe it maybe a good incentive if you have to be registered and show at least some presence on the forums before accessing the guild bank, dont know if it would motivate or push people away, but would be good to see more action.

I have a few other ideas, but these will be reveiled in due time.

Good idea there m8, you can only use the guild bank if registered here. I'll see what Rob thinks about it.
